Two women accused of stealing nearly $30K in perfume from Nashville stores
Two women are facing charges after they were accused of multiple high-dollar thefts of perfumes at Ulta and Kohl’s, according to an arrest affidavit.
The report said Metro Nashville Police Organized Retail Crime detectives began investigating the thefts, believed to have been committed by a group, in June.
Two alleged members of the theft group were arrested. They were identified as sisters Eriyonn Shaw, 18, and Jakhouria Shaw, 20.
Detectives seized the Shaw sisters’ phones and were granted a search warrant for the data from them.

He’s accused of stealing over $50,000 worth of equipment like welder and torque wrenches from Harbor Freight stores in town and around the state.
At the Berlin store alone, police say he’s stolen nearly $18,000 worth.

Two men charged in massive New Jersey retail theft ring spanning 12 counties

Day laborer organizers protest Home Depot, pressuring it to “scrape ICE out of their stores.”
Nearly one hundred people had just one item on their list as they entered the Home Depot in Monrovia on Saturday: a small ice scraper worth a little less than a dollar.
They got back in line only minutes later to return the item. The action, known as a buy-in, was part of a larger demonstration at the Home Depot to pressure the company to "scrape ICE out of their stores," said Erika Andiola, political director for the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, which coordinated the event.
Syracuse Police Officer arrested after multi-month fraud investigation
The NY State Police announced the arrest of Shaquille B. Muhammad, a Syracuse Police Officer, after a four-month investigation into a series of fraudulent transactions involving a Lowe’s store in Syracuse.
Troopers say 32-year-old Muhammad used his Lowe’s credit card to purchase more than $3,000 in merchandise, then contacted the issuing bank to file a false fraud report claiming the purchases were unauthorized.
As a result, the bank refunded the full amount to his account.
