A Coca-Cola distributor in Connecticut did something radical last year. They gathered 250 women — 15 percent of their workforce — in a ballroom for a day of speakers, team-building, and honest conversation. The theme was “Embrace Your Authenticity.”

The federal government is now suing them for it.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed the first-ever lawsuit targeting a corporate DEI program, claiming the women’s networking event was illegal discrimination against male employees. Let that land for a second. Two hundred and fifty women in a male-dominated industry carved out a single day to talk about their shared challenges — and a man who wasn’t there filed a complaint.

Someone reading this is already drafting the email to cancel their women’s forum.

Don’t.

How Tractor Supply measures the success of its AI investments

Farming isn’t typically associated with speed—most tractors can only go about 25 miles per hour—but “speedy” may be the word that best describes Tractor Supply’s growth trajectory in recent years.

The farming supplies and equipment outlet opened 90 new locations in 2025 and plans to open 100 more in 2026, as the purveyor of chicken coops, horse feed, and outdoor workwear capitalizes on what Placer.ai has called a significant “unmet demand” in rural markets across the country.

But the market opportunity is only part of the story. TSC has also invested heavily in AI-powered technology to drive growth.
